Texas Baptist Disaster Recovery Teams make significant impact
In addition to all of the Mission Teams that have been assisting us these past few weeks, three teams of skilled volunteers with the support of Three Rivers Community Church in Martindale made significant progress on seven homes.
ELCA Youth of Birmingham
This month BR3T has volunteer groups from all over this nation assisting us this month. This week, we have two churches from Birmingham Alabama in town and working on a home in Wimberley. This team of 11 youth and 3 adults are members of Shades Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Media and Elected Officials Tour
One Monday, July 11, 2016, BR3T Executive Director Thomas Monahan, along with other BR3T staff conducted a tour for media and elected officials to learn more about the BR3T Mission.
Disciples of Christ Mission Trip to BR3T
July is a month where we have mission trips from all over this country helping out our clients in Wimberley, San Marcos and Martindale. This week alone, more than 270 volunteers from 24 churches are helping out, in addition to our AmeriCorps team that is down to its last week.
